Sri. Udupa began his foray into percussion under his father Ullur Sri. Nagendra Udupa followed by training with Smt. Sukkanya Ramgopal and Sri. V Suresh. He has been part of many unique collaborative concerts and has played in august auspices throughout the world including at the United Nations, the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Sydney Opera House, the Kennedy Centre at Washington DC, the Royal Festival Hall in London and many more. For this podcast, he plays a ghatam solo in Adi tALam.
