K Gayatri – Podcast
Vocalist Smt. K Gayatri gives us a window into her life in this podcast. A mother of two young children including an infant, she candidly states that her familial responsibilities mean nothing much has changed now. She, however, is using Whatsapp to get together with like-minded individuals engaging in vyAkyAnam in Sanskrit and discussing compositions. She explains some intricate laya aspects of a Pallavi she recently presented as part of Carnatica’s online Pallavi Darbar. She concludes with a rendering of a Papanasam Sivan composition in rAgam sahAnA.
